Join us for free lunch a conversation and the screening of 'Pllckk! You are here', a poetry film that explores the sense of 'home' for Bhutanese refugees settling into Philly. Goma Sharma, a member of the Bhutanese community, and Ujjwala Maharajan, art educator and community worker from Southeast by Southeast will join us afterward for a conversation about the film and how Bhutanese in Philly navigate being refugees, and the citizenship process. The film is part of Making Home Movies, a collaborative film project sponsored by Mural Arts Philadelphia and the Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual Disability Services.
