Gold was key strategist in movement to secure Congressional resolutions expressing regret for Exclusion Act. He frequently advises in offices of United States Senators and serves on the adjunct faculty at George Washington University.
Gold is the author of Senate Procedure and Practice, a widely consulted primer on Senate Floor procedure, as well as Forbidden Citizens: Chinese Exclusion and the U.S. Congress: A Legislative History.
