Darrick Hamilton is an Associate Professor at Milano - The New School for International Affairs, Management and Urban Policy

In his talk, Understanding Assets Accumulation in Communities of Color, Professor Hamilton examines the importance of wealthy and critiques the conventional wisdom associated with explaining the racial wealth gap. The limitations of national asset surveys on the wealth of communities of color along with the development of a piloted study, National Assets in Communities of Color survey will be discussed.
