Abstract:

This research project investigates the prevalence and impact of medical misinformation within social media forums catering to the Bangladeshi and Bangladeshi American communities. The study will examine common topics of misinformation, the efficacy of existing measures to combat misinformation, and the associated implications on healthcare trust. Through analyzing data from popular social media platforms, the research seeks to provide insights into strategies for addressing misinformation and fostering greater trust in healthcare information among these populations.
