Anabel comes from Cuba with a Master’s degree in Development Practice, from the Latin American Social Sciences Institute (FLACSO), she graduated in Sociology from the University of Havana. A motivated coordinator, with experience in project management. She has worked as an advisor and external evaluator for development cooperation programs. Anabel worked with local governments as an advisor and facilitator in capacity-building processes, local development, and communication strategies in vulnerable communities. In 2019 Anabel joined us at Penn as the program assistant in the Latin American and Latinx Studies Program (LALS) and Asian American Studies Program (ASAM). She loves enjoying jazz and natural environments with friends and family.
