Congratulations David Deng and Seyoon Chun!

We are delighted to recognize two exceptional students for their outstanding research:

David Deng has been awarded the Thomas C. Cochran Prize for the best honors thesis in American history. His thesis, "Radical Roots: A History of Chinese American Resistance and Activism in Philadelphia Chinatown, 1900–1940," offers a deeply researched and powerful account of political and community organizing in an often-overlooked corner of American history.

Seyoon Chun has received the Martin Wolfe Prize for the best paper or thesis in world history. His project, "The Influence of Presbyterian and Catholic American Churches on Vietnamese Refugee Resettlement," examines the important role that faith-based institutions played in shaping the experiences of Vietnamese refugees in the United States.

Please join us in congratulating David and Seyoon on these well-deserved honors.
