Rupa Pillai, ASAM Senior Lecturer attended the 2022 annual conference of the American Academy of Religion in Denver. As part of the Asian North American Religion, Culture and Society Unit’s steering committee (first photo) she helped to curate the conference’s panels on Asian American religions. She also participated in a roundtable on Feminist Critical Hindu Studies as well as in a roundtable about Our Good Life Project, a national research project out of the Center for Religion and Cities that she is a Co-PI (second photo.)
