Penn Today Newsletter (July 30, 2021) featured ASAM UAB member Brian Vu, a rising senior in the College of Arts and Sciences, majoring in Biology and minoring in Asian American Studies and Chemistry from Austin, Texas.
In "Reconnecting With My Motherland" Brian discusses his research internship for the Hanoi University of Public Health in Vietnam. Vu is supporting a study on attitudes toward COVID-19 vaccines among health sector university students in Vietnam, and he appreciates the opportunity to learn more about his family’s native country.
