Luke Kertcher, an ASAM minor and member of the ASAM Undergraduate Advisory Board, will be presenting his paper "Reverberations of American Intervention: Remnants of the Second Indochina Conflict" at the Greater Philadelphia Asian Studies Consortium's 2018 Conference this Saturday, April 14th at 10am in Williams Hall. His paper discusses the effects that physical remnants of warfare from the conflict–including landmines, other unexploded ordnance, and dioxin poisoning–have on both land and bodies, as well as efforts for alleviation in the post-war period.
