The Graduate American Studies Group (GASAM) will convene for the first time this semester
Thursday, November 10, 2016
3pm–4.30pm
Fisher–Bennett Hall 330 (Graduate Lounge)
3340 Walnut St.
We'll welcome new members and reconnect with old friends. We'll also discuss two hot issues that have recently put great pressure on American and Southeast Asian politics: the Trans-Pacific Partnership and Rodrigo Duterte, President of the Philippines. I've included here two very informative readings that will shape our discussion. Snacks will be served.
Please let me know if you have questions or comments. I look forward to seeing you at the meeting.
Warmest regards,
Howie Tam
