Khoi Nguyen previously held a Provost’s Predoctoral Fellowship at Penn in the English Department during 2024-2025. Their research explores how refugees and immigrants, particularly global Indigenous peoples, can expand our understanding of war and migration alongside the historiography of borders, empire, and settler colonialism. Nguyen earned a Ph.D. in American Studies from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.
