Fariha is a senior from Vermont studying Political Science and English with a minor in Comparative Literature. She is the founder and former president of Penn Bangla, is an ASAM Fellow, and performs spoken word poetry with the Excelano Project. She is passionate about the study and practice of community organizing and movement-building, post / anticolonial theory and literature, and the political and cultural history of the Global South. You can likely find her creating art, cooking new dishes, and exploring bookstores in the city.
