Lindsey Lui

Lindsey is a second-generation Chinese American from Skillman, New Jersey. She is a senior majoring in Communications and minoring in Creative Writing and Asian American Studies. Lindsey decided to minor in Asian American Studies in order to better understand her family’s immigrant story and to promote the history of all Asian ethnicities in the U.S. that is often left out of American history textbooks. In addition to being the Co-Chair of the ASAM UAB, she is the Vice Chair of Constituent Affairs for the Asian Pacific Student Coalition (APSC), a sister of Sigma Psi Zeta, and a member of the Oracle Senior Honor Society. Over the summer, Lindsey worked as an intern for Bloomingdale’s in their buying office. In her free time, she enjoys reading humor essays, discussing identity politics, and appreciating art in all its forms: visual, audial, or otherwise.
