Asian American Studies Summit at the University of Pennsylvania:
"The State of Asian American Studies Today"
Interested in Asian American Studies but only a few courses are offered at your school? Come to this inaugural Asian American Studies Summit at the University of Pennsylvania! Speak with students and professors who are dedicated to building a foundation for Asian American Studies at universities! Registration is completely FREE!
We hope to use the Summit to collectively learn how these programs are maintained and how they have evolved in conjunction with student interests and social movements. We will also discuss the challenges the discipline has faced in establishing itself and possible future obstacles as the field grows. By the end of the conference, we hope to use our new-found knowledge to strengthen our individual programs and influence change in each school's environment!
