External Speaker Series (CLALSES) Grant 2021-2022.
CLALSES Series invites distinguished scholars to the Penn campus, some of whom will lecture with CLALS cross-listed classes, to expand and deepen our intellectual understanding of Latin America and Latinos across disciplines. It also aims to foster dialogue and possibilities for collaborative research between Penn faculty and scholars from across the Americas.
Dr. Pillai is inviting Dr. Martin Tsan, Cuban Heritage Collection Librarian and Curator of Latin American Collections for a conference entitled: "Cuba-Afro-Asian Relationship."
The talk will be hosted in the Spring and will be open to the public.
